Ashbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team- Update

It has been a busy week for the team.

A cannabis grow was located and dismantled preventing drugs from reaching our community.
We continue to take firm action against those involved in this type of crime.

In a separate incident, officers dealt with a male who had recently been released from prison. He found to be intoxicated in the town centre, causing disruption
by throwing road signs and damaging café furniture. He was already subject to a Criminal Behaviour Order, which he breached through his actions.
He has been since returned to court and prosecuted.

We remain committed to tackling crime and antisocial behaviour to keep Ashbourne a safe place to live, work and visit.
